Biography
Joan Peris is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Barcelona, Spain. His primary focus is on photography and painting.
​
Joan was initially educated in graphic design, and spent 11 years designing and creating ceramic art.
​
In the 1980's, Joan's curiosity for art led him to pursue his interests in photography and painting.
​
In the 1990's, Joan began to formally exhibit his artworks, and in 1997 he moved to Barcelona where his studio is currently based in "Ciutat Vella", in the historic centre of the city.
​
Joan collaborates with several galleries across Spain, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.
